I work with owner-led businesses to find where work waits, leaks context or depends on somebody remembering the next step. The first answer is often a clearer process, not more software.
Where technology earns its place, I build the smallest reliable system: rules-based automation, local-first applications, integrations, or AI agents operating behind explicit scopes, gates and human release.
For seven years at a manufacturer I held two jobs at once, IT Manager and Operations Manager. Production schedules, inbound raw material, distribution and fleet on one side; the ERP the whole plant depended on on the other. They were never separate, and that is where the habit came from: describe the work before arguing about the outcome.
Since then, service delivery for UK client businesses run from Cape Town, and in 2020 I founded Sunlec Energy Solutions, an energy systems consultancy I still run. Precision Workflows came out of both. Technology alone does not solve business problems.
